Transform Difficult Conversations at Work
Training in Communication Skills with Heart
July 24th and 25th Central Manchester, UK
Find communication tricky, time-consuming and exhausting?
We know that in the modern workplace relationships matter more than ever before, yet without the right tools and insights from psychology most of us are in the dark about how to actually find ease and flow in our conversations, our meetings and most crucially when it really matter in our most difficult conversations.
The Art and Science of Communication training has been developed to answer the urgent call for change in the way we approach such awkwardness and potential conflicts. We train people across Europe to add the power of empathy to their soft skills. This coupled with proven tools brings more flow and ease to communication.
Training in honest expression with care, how to listen effectively and how to give feedback.
We love to bring people together to learn and explore a ‘middle way’ where finding common ground enables more effective working together and increased harmony for all. These tools used worldwide and practised in companies such as Microsoft and L’oreal. This is the first time we will offer this training in the UK.
This two-day training will cover:
Increase your choice about YOUR time and energy, what you engage with and how.
Whatever your role whatever your position these tools and skills support increased trust as you bring your integrity to meetings. We especially welcome individuals and teams to attend our trainings who work in the third sector, charities, social enterprise or new start ups who want to do things differently – anyone who knows the value of putting relationships at the heart of their working life.
This training is based on the work of Dr Marshall Rosenberg- Nonviolent Communication (NVC). NVC is a powerful tool and a mindset. NVC brings a perspective and clarity and puts building relationships at the heart of an effective organisation. It does not rely on everyone knowing how to use it- an individual can have an impact. Organisations CAN chose to do things differently.
Both Shona and Sarah are Certified Trainers with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication and trained with Dr Rosenberg himself over many years. They bring over 30 years experience in the field of communication, psychology and coaching. This is a unique collaboration which brings together their insights and strategies as they broaden their reach to bring this work to a new audience.
